Summary of the Bill
The Bill would make provision for the appointment of independent Support Officers for NHS employees who wished to make disclosures in the public interest, and specifies the functions and powers of these Support Officers. It would place a duty on NHS trusts and others to co-operate with the Support Officers, and would also amend the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 to take account of the provisions.Stay up to date
